Pulmonary Rehabilitation
COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a very common lung disease that makes activities of daily living difficult to do. Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema are common types of COPD. People often avoid physical activity so they will not become short of breath. This leads to a further decline of overall health. Pulmonary Rehabilitation can help! Through medically supervised, monitored, progressive exercise and breathing retraining, participants of CalvertHealth’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation program regain the strength and confidence to perform daily activities like taking a shower, cooking or shopping.
